The Cascadia Cornucopia is high in antioxidants!

Are you a nutrition buff? Do you like fueling your body in healthy ways? Well, feast your eyes on the chokeberry (aronia) planted in several locations in Cascadia’s Cornucopia. You might confuse it with the blueberry, but these small, purple-black berries have even been said to contain a higher amount of nutrition than its blue cousin.  Still, what do we know about this unfamiliar berry? The aronia is native to the East Coast, and is a little more tart than other berries. You’ll find it is ready to harvest right before it reaches the “too mushy” state. Pop over to the Cornucopia today and try a few… Ooooh, I bet they’d be delicious on oatmeal?!
